We think that that the church comes into the building to worship and be challenged or encouraged and goes out to be the “church” at home, work, school and at play. We love having a building but know it isn’t the church but rather a place where the church often gathers.

Ministries

  • At KCF Kids we are dedicated to investing in the future generation of disciples! We want each child to feel they belong to our community and know they are always included. We want each child to believe that Jesus is their Lord and Savior. Finally we want each child to become a strong follower of Jesus and learn to live out their faith with their families and friends.

We have a nursery for moms to enjoy service with their babies, a toddler classroom for 18 months-3 years old, a preschool classroom for 3-5 year olds, and our Kids Zone which is for Kindergarten through 5th graders.

  • KCF Women’s Ministry exists to exalt the Lord by reaching women on Kauai of all ages to connect with community, encourage them to grow in God’s Word and equip them for ministry, discipleship and sharing Christ with others

The word Abide represents our ministry as we desire to be women of faith who remain in the Lord and bear much fruit.

The ‘Ohi’a Lehua blossom is our ministry emblem.

The blossom comes in a variety of shapes, colors, and textures and is found in a wide range of habitats from lowland forests to high-altitude volcanic slopes. Although it looks dainty and delicate, the tree is well rooted, incredibly durable and can grow in rugged, barren terrain.

The ‘Ohi’a Lehua is one of the first plants to establish itself on barren lava flows, playing a vital role in ecosystem succession.

History has revealed the ‘Ohi’a Lehua’s multipurpose nature in the Hawaiian culture. It also provides habitat and food for a variety of native species, including birds, insects, and other plants.

  • The mission for our ohana is to know Jesus and make Him known; to foster and encourage parent participation at KCF Keiki Preschool by making parents aware of opportunities for involvement in the Preschool; and to provide a program that is parttime in order to support and encouragef, not replace, family time.

Our program is for children ages 3 to 5 years old. Children must be three years old by July 31 of the year of enrollment.

Classes take place Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 8:00am to 1:00pm for early departure and 8:00 to 3:00 for those who stay for naps. Basically, we adhere to the same schedule as Koloa Elementary School in regard to closures and holidays so our preschoolers can enjoy family time if/when they have older siblings.

  • The purpose of the Sports Ministry at Kauai Christian Fellowship is to provide opportunities to reach those who do not know Christ, through the common bond of sports & fitness. We desire to use sports & fitness to not only bless the community, but engage with the community, to build relationships that ultimately builds to a vital relationship with God.

We love sports, but we certainly love God...who blessed us with the ability to enjoy life...including sports, fitness, and health as important parts of life. In fact the Bible says, "Bodily exercise is all right, but spiritual exercise is much more important and is a tonic for all you do. So exercise yourself spiritually, and practice being a better Christian because that will help you not only now in this life, but in the next life too." (1 Timothy 4:8).

Our goal is to offer opportunities for you to participate in sports while building friendships and connecting with the church or better yet... a relationship with God.

We celebrate the arts, music, sporting activities and creativity. We see all of these things as reflections of the Creator in us or as vehicles to not only have healthier lives but to connect with new friends and spread the message of Christ and the stories of our own encounters with Him.
